1925 Hellenic Business Map

If your family is of Greek descent and owned a business in Atlanta in the 1920s, it was likely noted by the 1925 collection of Greek businesses for a directory. These addresses have been painstakingly imposed over a modern map of downtown Atlanta to aid in assisting Greeks to find their family's old business locations.

 

NOTE: due to the significant changes in the downtown Atlanta cityscape over the past 100 years, many roads or streets have changed names, been removed or added, or have had their numerical street address changed. This map uses 1900-1925 fire insurance maps as reference for locations.
